Acacia (Wattle)

Acacia (Wattle) [10]
These lovely plants are often referred to as mimosa. Profuse fragrant golden-yellow flowers are borne late winter/early spring. They do best in non-chalky soils. Most will survive outdoors in favoured sheltered locations, ideally with the protection of a south or west-facing wall but are more often grown as cool greenhouse subjects.
