Cornus controversa 'Variegata' (Wedding cake tree)

Cornus controversa 'Variegata' (Wedding cake tree) [68]
A fully hardy, deciduous tree with layered branches and when fully developed is quite spectacular. The mid-green leaves, which have creamy white margins, turn yellow in autumn. White flowers are freely borne in June-July. Will grow in most fertile soils in a sunny sheltered position but if the soil is on the dry side plant in half shade.
